Today we are going to learn the 3 types of Digital Media which you must know to market your business.

Are you a business owner who is clueless about digital marketing?
Are you a millennial who didn’t study marketing, but is increasingly seeing the demand for social media marketing?
Are you a freelancer who needs to market your services but do not know where to start?
If you know nothing about Digital marketing, the least you need to know is, Paid, Owned and Earned Media.
Once you master the 3 different types of media, you will be able to grow a continuous flow of customers, waiting to do business with you.
Use Paid Media to reach new customers if you are a new brand. Use Google AdWords to reach highly targeted audience based on the Related keywords found in keyword planner.
Use Facebook, YouTube ads, to reach targeted customers through demographic and psychographic settings like age range, interests and locations.
Make sure you understand the value your business is providing. Use The right copy, images or videos to communicate your Features and Benefits.
Create a landing page as a Sales funnel to collect leads. Provide a free gift, ebook, or ask them to sign up your newsletter for future correspondences.
Convert leads into sales. Most likely less than 10 percent will be converted into actual customers. Your initial customers are precious. Take time to serve them well and build relationship with them.
Firstly register your domain name using Godaddy.com. Then create your own website with wix, weebly or leadpages. Trust me, it is very simple and easy.
Your website is like the door to your business. Never think that having a facebook page will suffice! You will lose out alot of customers who are using the google search engine!
Next step, create your facebook fanpage and Instagram account. You need to understand how to manage them. My advice is, check out youtube tutorials on tIps to Grow your pages.
Content marketing is key. You need a stream of Content ideas. Focus on aspirations, products, trends & positive themes for a start. You need to understand the algorithms to hack the system, and to grow your pages.
Invest in Mailchimp. With the database collected from your website pop up page, try sending your customers weekly updates. Please do not blast your customers with too much irrelevant info.
The focus here is to keep your existing customers happy. Ensure you have a constant dialogue with them.
Focus on creating a fellowship of customers who will support you till the end. If you have provided good value, your customers will reciprocate by helping you spread word of mouth communication.
Focus on developing co-creation opportunities and seek user generated content from your fans. Provide incentives and orchestrate channels for advocates and followers to amplify your messages.
Create interesting Facebook or Instagram contests to engage your fans. You could ask them to share videos of themselves using the products and hashtag your IG account. Give your audiences more coverage on your own media. They will help to re-share when they see their efforts rewarded.
Viral videos are one excellent tool to help spread word of mouth. Use humor, quirks, randomness and even sex as possible themes for your videos. When the videos are relevant, consumers will start to share them.
Do not forget the role of influencers in amplifying your content. Often influencers are early adopters with a large following. If they align themselves with your brand, you will get a lot of leverage.
Once you create good earned media volume, you realise your brand will start to have a healthy mind share amongst your target audiences.
